  1. Create a Steam Account

  1. Buy cc Ultimate at bestbuy

  1. Create Origin account and login.

  1. Install Origin windows client.

  1. Install command and conquer game by redeem product code - add key from amazon

  1. Install generals zero hour from origin

  1. Test to make sure it runs.

  1. Download and install gentool.net to setup networking and create a new launcher

create server and nickname and password. These are what you log into in Generals for your Generals Account.

  1. download and install updated launcher from : http://bibber.eu/downloads/cnc-ultimate-collection-launchers/

  1. Start Origin and launch game

  1. Go to Multiplayer / online games

  1. Login with your CC Online Credentials (email, nickname, password)

Make sure to run the game with admin rights.
Solution 1 (Generals  Zero Hour):
1) Install the fixed launchers (applicable only if you have the Ultimate Collection via Origin)DOWNLOAD
2) Install GenTool (can be installed if you have Origin versions / retail versions)
3) Uninstall CC:Online (if youve been hooking, make sure you unhook first)
4) Launch the game and use your CC:Online credentials to log in. GenTool has CC:Online support built in.
Solution 3 (CC3  RA3):Go intoOrigin, click the game (in this case either CC3 or RA3), click the i button to the left of play, click Game Properties and check the box Disable Origin in game for this game and then launch RA3 or CC3 via the normal CC:Online method.

This apples to all games:
1) Reboot your PC.
2) Right click Red Alert 2 in origin client.
3) Select Game Properties
4) In Command Line Arguments type: -w
5) Tick Disable Origin In Game For This Game
6) Hit OK and enjoy!

if you use Win 7/Vista:

Install the game as usual, download and install the latest patch.
Then navigate to your user data directory and create the folder:

C:\Users\XXXX\Documents\Command and Conquer Generals Data
or
